Meet Big Mama, the sweetest 3-year-old bulldog mix who's ready to melt your heart! We're not entirely sure what she's mixed with, but whatever it is, it sure makes her even more adorable. Big Mama loves everyone she meets—whether they’re big or small, young or old! She’s a true people-pleaser and adores getting all the love and attention.

Big Mama also gets along great with other dogs, so she'd fit right in with a family that already has some furry friends. With her loving nature and easygoing personality, Big Mama is ready to find her forever home where she can share her big heart and even bigger cuddles. Could that home be yours? SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
