My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Your Sunny, Shoelace-Loving Sidekick

Meow! I mean, hi there! I’m Mica– a playful 3-month-old kitten. I have a big pawsonality packed into all 3 pounds of orange-and-white fluff. I was rescued with my three siblings in Perris, and now I’m on the hunt for a furever home where I can show off my endless charm.

I may be small, but I’m an expert at finding sunny spots to nap in; I’m quite the pro! I’m a sucker for treats, tuna, and especially shoelaces—I can’t get enough of them! I’ll follow you around and purr up a storm, especially if you scratch behind my ears.

I get along great with other cats and kids, so I’d be happy in any loving home, as long as I’m an indoor-only fella. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving companion who’s equal parts cuddle and play, I’m your guy! Let’s make our own sunny memories together!

My adoption fee is $200 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, FIV/FeLV test, dewormer treatments, flea/tick preventative, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://www.jotform.com/form/203644795041153

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We prioritize local San Diego applicants. We do not provide transport of dogs to other states, and don't allow the dogs to fly in the cargo of the plane.
Our adoption process from start to finish, involves 3 standard forms, and 2 situational.
All potential applicants must be capable of providing their adopted pet with routine and emergency veterinary care (yearly health checks, keeping vaccinations current, heartworm/flea preventatives, and immediate care in the event the animal is sick or injured). They are required to license their pet, and keep an identification tag on their pet at all times.
All applicants must agree to a home check, and provide us with a veterinary reference, or personal references if you're a first-time pet owner. Our home checks are not to invade the privacy of the applicants, we do this to ensure the pet is going into a safe home. We do not discriminate against non-homeowners, or those living in apartments, condos, or otherwise.
Our adoption fees vary from $150-1000.
Applicants must agree in writing that if for any reason they are unable to keep or care for their pet, the pet will be surrendered back to our rescue and not re-homed, turned over to a shelter, pound, rescue, new owner, sold, etc.

More about this rescue

Overview
The Animal Pad is a nonprofit, all-breed dog rescue devoted to saving the lives of dogs facing euthanasia at high kill animal shelters and off the streets of Mexico. We rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home locally.

We are dedicated to animal advocacy, and educating dog owners on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. We are a foster based rescue, and rely heavily on the kindness and generosity of the amazing people who make donations toward the rescue and care of the dogs we save.

We are always looking for adopters, fosters, donations, volunteers, etc.. Please let us know if you would like to get involved by contacting us at one of the email addresses found below.

If you have any questions, comments, or are interested in marketing, advertising, partnership, sponsorship, or otherwise, please contact us at the email address below.
