My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Toby! I’m a 2-year-old Siberian Husky mix, and I’ve got the most beautiful red and white coat that’ll stop you in your tracks. At 48 lbs., I’m a nice size — not too big, but big enough to keep you warm during chilly nights! I’ve got those striking Husky eyes and an adventurous spirit, and I’m always up for a good run or a fun play session. My tail wags pretty much all the time because I’m just so excited about life!

I wasn’t always in this awesome place, though. I was surrendered by my previous owner in South Carolina because they couldn’t afford to care for me anymore. That was a tough time for me, but I’m not letting it get me down. I’m ready to start fresh and find my forever home, one that will love me and take care of me like I deserve. I’m heartworm negative, I’ve been neutered, and I’m all caught up on my vaccinations, including my recent rabies shot. So, I’m in good health and ready to start my new chapter! I’m also working on gaining a little weight — I could use a few extra pounds to get to my best self, but I’m on the right track!

Here’s what you really need to know about me: I am super dog-friendly and people-friendly! I get along with everyone, whether they’ve got two legs or four. I’m calm and easygoing — I don’t howl or get loud, and I’m great on a leash. People love walking me because I’m so well-behaved! I’m also really good with kids, and I just want to be a part of the family. I haven’t been tested with cats yet, but I’m open to meeting one if you’ve got one in your home.

I’m looking for a family that has the energy to keep up with me. I love my walks, and if you like to run or hike, I’ll be right there with you, leading the way! I’ll also happily cuddle up on the couch with you when it’s time to relax (I’m all about that too). I’m an active guy, but I also know how to wind down after a good adventure. So, if you’re looking for a fun, loving, and loyal companion, I might just be the perfect match.

I promise to fill your life with love, laughs, and maybe even a little mischief — I mean, I am part Husky, after all! Come meet me soon — I’m ready to find my forever family
