Honey is just the sweetest young lady! She's house trained and loves her crate. She enjoys rolling in the grass, chasing squeaky toys, chewing on bones and giving kisses. She is doing well with walking on a leash and I love to smell all the things in the big wide world.
Honey did not have the easiest start to life. She was found in a city dump surviving on trash. She has infested with fleas and had almost no hair left on her body. She was itchy, raw, painful, and had a skin infection. After weeks of medicated baths her hair has mostly grown back and her coat is soft and shiny!
We have learned that Honey is a cautious gal. She loves to snuggle and play with her toys, but would prefer to the only doggie in your home. She does great with cats. Honey would do best in a home that did not have constant people coming and going. She has a "stranger danger" bark that alerts when newcomers enter her space. Although she can easily be won over with a few treats, she would thrive in a quieter home.
