This pet was brought in by a community member on Month 00, 0000.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Marielle is a 4-year-old female cat who has come a long way since coming into my care. When she first arrived, she spent the first few weeks hiding, unsure of her new environment and the people around her in her foster home. Her progress has been slow but steady. After watching her kittens roam freely, Marielle gradually began to trust her caregivers, eventually venturing into the larger room to enjoy head scratches, gentle petting, and even playful interactions with a mouse-on-a-string toy. While she is still cautious, particularly around strangers, Marielle has shown that with patience and a quiet, understanding home, she can continue to blossom. She would likely thrive in a calm, patient household where she has the space to hide and acclimate at her own pace, gradually becoming more comfortable with new faces. Marielle is ready for her new home and would make a loving companion for someone who can offer her the time and understanding she needs to fully trust and feel safe..
