My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Uta, a sweet and loving German Shepherd mix who adores her people! Uta is full of love and excitement when she sees her favorite humans-expect lots of kisses and zoomies around the yard. While she thrives in the company of those she knows, Uta can be fearful of new people and unfamiliar environments, especially busy streets. She bonds more quickly with women, and while she is learning to be brave, she still requires a patient and understanding family to help her grow in confidence.

Currently, Uta is still working through her fear of walking in busier areas. While she has made great progress and enjoys short walks in quiet settings, her adopters will need to be committed to continuing her training and confidence-building. Uta needs a forever family that will help her gradually adapt to new experiences, offering her the support and reassurance to overcome her fears.

A home with a fenced yard would be ideal, where she can feel safe and secure while having space to play. Uta has a few dog friends but can be reactive to new dogs, so slow, careful introductions are essential when meeting new dogs or people. With the right family, Uta will continue to blossom into the confident, loving companion she's meant to be.
