My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hazel! While we can never be sure what her breed is, we know that she's 100% pure adorable, sweet, and eager to love/be loved on! Miss Hazel girl is quite a bundle of puppy, and enjoys ALL things, playing with people, dogs, cats, toys, you name it! She will play with it! Don't get me wrong though, she also loved good snuggles! Often switching between play and nap time as puppies tend to do! Not to mention she LOVES mealtime, and is quite well crate-trained for only being about 2.5 months old! Hazel will make an amazing addition to just about any family with her charming personality, and big brown eyes! With all of her baby rolls, and fluffy fur, it is impossible NOT to fall in love with this sweetheart!

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
