My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nobody can get enough of Moose! If you have a single great experience with this little man, he is BOUND to your side like glue, and it is the CUTEST ever. He approaches the world with such a tender, loving curiosity combined with adorable innocence; he is the cuddle bug we ALL adore. At about 3 months old, and 10 pounds, he's 100% a good boy! He's already mastering 'sit', crate training, + of course, puppy dog eyes! As you can see, he's a sucker for being held, too. What I love most about Moose is definitely his wiggly butt, accompanied by his always wagging tail!

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
