Their adoption process

Submit Application
If you are interested in adopting, please contact Beverly Pack at cell 606-571-6224 to have an application sent to you.
2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
Once the application has been received you will be notified of approval/disapproval. Then an appointment will be set to meet meet the cats.
3.
Sign Adoption Contract
Upon selection of the right pet, you must sign an adoption contract and pay adoption fee. If the vetting has been done, she is ready to go!!
Additional adoption info
Adoption fee for cats/kittens is $75.00. Fee includes mandatory spay/neuter surgery, post-op pain medication, vaccinations, rabies shot, dewormings, flea preventive treatment, socialization, and litter box training.
We also do long distance adoptions to adopters in the northeast and other areas with fees ranging from $150-200, depending on area. This fee includes all of the vetting above as well as FIV/FelV Combo Test, vet check, fecal test, health certificate to travel.

We are a mandatory spay/neuter non-profit humane organization providing shelter, love and care for the unwanted, abused, and neglected animals in Lawrence County, Kentucky. We also provide educational programs to the public and schools in the area on the importance of spaying/neutering and pet responsibility. In addition, we offer low-cost spay/neuter programs for dogs and cats to the public in our effort to decrease the shelter population and the number of unwanted dogs and cats in our area.
