My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!

I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.

I am playful and cute!

Mayo was in the den and move slightly in response to the shaking, treat bag and sniff them, and gave a small initial hiss when approached, but then allowed pending along the cheek head and back. He ate, squeeze up and stretched his head out of the den to get more of it, but would not step out. When the assessor went to replace the den cover, he hissed again and slightly louder. He's a sweet cat who needs a little time.

Mayo interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior.
