Meet Jessie, a 2 ½-year-old, 43.9-pound bundle of Husky joy! This sweet girl has a heart full of happiness and a playful, goofy personality that lights up every room. Jessie adores people and spreads smiles wherever she goes. She’s easygoing and up for anything, happy to join in on whatever her people are doing. If you’re looking for a joyful, fun-loving companion, Jessie is ready to bring some extra sunshine into your life! ?? We do not know how Jessie does with other animals or children.

We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment ONLY. If you are interested in adopting, please contact us via email at jcas@co.johnson.in.us or call 317-738-6090 during regular business hours. We will happily help get an application to you. Once an application is submitted and approved, we can contact you to set an appointment to meet the pet!

Our adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs, $75 for kittens under 6 months of age and $50 for all cats 6 months and older. This will include a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate), spay or neuter, a microchip with registration, and all other age appropriate vaccinations.

More about this shelter

We are the all admittance shelter in Johnson County, we are not a 501c3, but a county run facility. We try our best to place each and every animal. We also house all animals picked up by Animal Control therefore; we intake a high volume of animals each year.
