My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing our golden girl, Amora! This sweet pup was rescued from a hoarding situation before making her way to Nashville Humane. The shelter has been a stressful place for her, but she has found comfort in a loving Foster Home. Her Foster said she was super cuddly and wanted to immediately sit on their laps and snuggle. She also did well with the older child in the home and does best in a gentle and calm environment. Amora is a quick learner and has already mastered sit, down, and potty training! She would also do best in a home as an only dog and with a family that gives her time to warm up to her surroundings. If you have room in your heart and home for our golden girl, we hope you'll come to visit Amora today!

Go meet their pets

We’re so excited that you’re considering adopting from Nashville Humane Association. We’re located at 213 Oceola Ave in West Nashville, near the intersection of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike, and are open from 10AM until 5PM TUE through SUN (closed Mondays). We’re also closed every TUE-THUR from 12-1PM for “Quiet Hour.” As a quick heads up, our adoption process takes about an hour, and all adoptions must be finalized on-site at the shelter, so if you’re planning to visit and adopt, be sure to make accommodations for time.
