Loki is a one-year-old, 8-pound bundle of love who’s as social as he is sweet! Having grown up with five other cats, Loki is well-versed in feline friendships and would be happy to join a home with other pets. He’s also people-oriented and loves to be where the action is, especially if it involves a cozy lap for snuggling.

This playful little guy is always ready for a game but will happily settle down to cuddle when it’s time to relax. He adores curling up with his humans and will keep you warm with his endless affection. If you`re looking for a gentle, social companion who will bring joy and comfort to your life, Loki might just be the perfect match! All adoptable cats are neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We are here to help you find the one for you! When you come to the shelter please bring your photo ID.

2.
Take the Pet Home

Adopt and the pet is legally yours! Or choose to "slumber party" which is a trial adoption. You will have up to two weeks to decide.

3.
Pay Fee

The adoption fee is $60 for a dog and $35 for a cat. Those living within Citrus County, FL. will also purchase a $10 county license fee.

All adopters must be at least 18 years old. The adoption fee is $60 for a dog and $35 for a cat. Those living within Citrus County, FL. will also purchase a $10 county license fee. All pets are spayed/neutered, current on age and species appropriate vaccinations and flea and heartworm prevention. Kittens under 6 months of age are tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV), and Cats over 6months of age are tested for FeLV and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Dogs over 6 months of age are tested for heartworm disease. If the dog is heartworm positive, the treatment will be provided by our Veterinarian, at no cost to the adopter, sponsored by our generous community partner Citrus County Foundation for Animal Protection (CCFAP).
