My name is Nala!

Nala is a loving, intelligent 4-year old German Shepard. I have owned her for 2 years and she is an amazing family member. Unfortunately, I am senior and have worsening health problems that are requiring me to move somewhere I can have fulltime care, and I will not be able to keep Nala with me. I am heartbroken and hope to find her a wonderful new home. She loves greeting her family members, she gets along great with new people, she can sense your mood and wants to cheer you up if you are having a tough day. She loves going on walks, retrieving sticks or balls that you throw, and wants to cuddle. She would do well with a family or an individual. She has not lived with another dog before, and gets overly excited sometimes when she sees one on a walk. I had her take a 5-week training course to work on leash commands and be great on walks. She has had all shots and great vet care.
