My name is Hamlett!

Hamlett was adopted from Memphis Animal Services August 2023. He had only been in a shelter for a few days, but he was set for euthanization due to shelter over-crowding and at that time they did not have a transport program. Ham has been to obedience training and know basic commands. He participates in doggie day care and Zoomies mobile gym. He is quiet and nondestructive and likes people. He does jump up when he meets a person. He loves to ride in the van and would make a great dog for someone who travels in a van. However, Ham does not like our other dog, a male pit mix and they have to be kept strictly apart. In my opinion he would do better in a situation where he is the only dog and no small children ( do to the jumping when excited). The best fit would be an adult or a couple who travels for recreation in a van and would like a medium sized friendly dog to ride along.
