My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scruffy, sweet, smart, silly Shane! Out of all the adjectives we can come up with, nothing quite sums up how amazing this boy is. Shane was surrendered to SNIPSA due to unforeseen circumstances, but he is the goodest boy of them all! We know it will not take long for him to find a new family that can give him all the love he deserves. Shane is one year old, so he already has a good grasp of his potty training and crate training. He sits for treats, settles in easily on his dog bed, and has a submissive nature. Given our first impression of Shane, we have no doubt that he will do well with other pets and even children. He truly is the perfect dog and will fit in just about anywhere. Not to mention, he is a good size at just 24 pounds, though he may gain a few more as he continues to mature. So, give Shane a chance, and he will reward you with years of loyalty! Apply to meet him today!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
