Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Goldie is a 2-3 year old 48 lb Golden Retriever Mix who was found a few months ago tied up and emaciated in a shuttered local business. She has since regained her health, vigor and her sense of wonder!
Goldie is leash + crate + potty trained, and knows sit and stay. She is very smart, and can likely be trained to do other things with enough treats and time! She has medium energy, so she loves being a couch potato but also loves to be playful and active. She gets along great with friendly dogs, loves the dog park, and she enjoys getting scratches + pets from adults and kids alike. She is a very easy dog. She is fully vaccinated, chipped + fixed.
Our preference is a family or individual that has a fenced in backyard or dog area in their apartment/townhome/house. Bonus points if she can have a doggie sibling!
Out of state adopters and adopters beyond a 100 miles radius of Houston metropolitan area are welcome to apply if a modest transportation charge can be paid to get her to you.
