Meet me at the mobile adoption event on Saturday, November 16th at Woodlands Pet Food & Treats San Rafael from 12-3pm (unless adopted before 3pm). An onsite sign-in sheet will open one hour before the event.
(From my foster home) Westley is the sweetest "Chiweenie" (Chihuahua/dachshund mix) who was found as a stray in the Central Valley. He is white with subtle tan markings. He's tiny - maybe 4-5lbs, and a bit shy around new people. I think he hasn't had much exposure to kind hands but he still is drawn to people and opens up within a few hours. He always looks worried. He also is very interested in dogs and I think he would love an older sibling around his size.
Westley is a typical playful, happy puppy. He loves soft chew toys and has discovered a tiny soccer ball that is his prized possession. He's medium energy when he's not sound asleep. He's doing great with crate training and potty training - he stays in an xpen overnight and when unsupervised and uses potty pads in the xpen as a last resort, but is starting to hold it longer and longer until he is taken outside. He loves his plush donut bed and loves to burrow under a soft blankie. He's not very vocal but will occasionally join in an alarm bark with his foster siblings.
Because he is so tiny I don't think a home with young children would work unless they are VERY gentle. I also think a very chaotic home might be too much for this little guy. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Lemon Weight: 5.38 Age: 0yrs 0mths 10wks
