Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meow there, my name is Bethany! People around here describe me as a purrrfectly sweet and friendly feline. My favorite things are snuggling up for a good cuddle session, playing with my favorite toys, and watching the world go by from the comfort of a sunny windowsill. Despite my calm demeanor, I can still get the zoomies and zoom around the house like a little furry tornado! I promise I`ll keep you entertained with my silly antics. So what do you say, wanna give this kitty a chance to steal your heart?
How did I get here? I was transferred from Mitchell County Animal Rescue as part of Hurricane Helene relief efforts.

**I am currently living at the admission center - please fill out a survey and select a phone appointment to complete the adoption process. Once that process is complete, your adoption specialist will schedule a time for you to meet me in person!**

Adoption Fees:
Dogs 7 months and older: $95
Puppies 6 months and younger: $300
Cats 7 months and older: $45
Kittens 6 months and younger: $150
Rabbits: $35
Guinea pigs: $15

Adoption fees for dogs and cats include:
First vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, deworming and flea preventative.

All cats and kittens have been tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).

All dogs and puppies have received heartworm preventative, and dogs/puppies over the age of six months have been tested for heartworms.

All rabbits are spayed or neutered.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.

The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.

The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million.
