My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We think this smile says it all! Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We hope you had a wonderful day hanging with your family and friends🦃

Scrappy Doo saw some of his volunteer and staff friends today so he got all his zoomies out. This 2-year-old little 40lb guy has so much potential. He has the perkiest ears, and is DOG & FAMILY FRIENDLY!!!!

The shelter re-opens tomorrow at 12 to the public. Rather than black Friday shopping, come visit us and shop for some love and puppy licks💙

Visit anytime between 12 - 4:30. Bring the family and add some doggie love to your family! Questions can be sent to tintonfallsahs@ahsppz.org or call us at 732.922.0100.

More about this shelter

The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.

For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused, or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.

The Society is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.

Please visit our website AHSCares.org for additional information.
