Hi there! I’m Amelia, a sweet Alabama pup now living in Minnesota, hoping to find my forever home! Life as a stray wasn’t easy, but now I’m learning all about the cozy indoors—did you know furniture is soft and perfect for snuggling? I love playing with my foster-pup siblings and the little humans here, and I can zoom around the house like a pro!
I figured out the house training thing as long as my people keep their schedule. I sleep in my kennel at night, and while I might whine a bit, I settle down quickly. Mornings are my favorite time—I’ve got tons of energy after breakfast and love running around the big yard!
I like sticking close to my foster mom while she works from home, and I even get to ride in the car sometimes! I’m getting used to all the new things—smells, people, and playmates! I’m still a bit shy, but I’m learning that people are kind and loving. I can’t wait to find my forever family and share all the love I have to give! -------------------------------------------- All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
