Hi, my name is Speck and I'm about 13 weeks old. I was found stray with my littermates with a feral mama cat. We were rescued and brought to Bond County Humane Society so we can find loving furever homes. We have been living in a foster home since we were 8 weeks old. I am a smart kitty that sits back and watches. My foster family calls me Sir Speck. I wait for just the right moment to steal your heart away. I warm up to be snuggly, playful and curious. I love treats and I'm great with kids and other cats, but I'm cautious with dogs. I am available for immediate adoption. I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped. My adoption fee is $130. Additional adoption info

Our adoption process requires the completion and approval of an adopter's profile form. This form can be obtained in person or on-line at our web site, www.bondcohs.petfinder.com. It can be completed and e-mailed to the address provided for review. We have a standard adoption agreement. Dog adoption fees vary depending on breed, and age of dog. They generally range from $125 to $250. Cat adoption fees are $90 for kittens (under 1 year of age), $55 for adult cats that have been housed at the shelter for 1 year or less. Adoption fees for cats that have been housed at the shelter for multiple years are by donation.

We conduct off-site adoptions on Saturdays at the following locations:

PETCO - Fairview Heights, IL
Every Saturday, 11-3 (except holiday weekends)

Shelter hours are 1-5pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Sunday is ONLY by appointment.
