My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Yeowool! She is a mixed girl who is 2 years old.

She currently weight 6.5kg and is spayed.
Yeowool loves people and is eager for attention.
She’ll ask to be held even by strangers and will follow closely after just one walk together. She’s incredibly affectionate and craves companionship. She has the same warm reaction toward men. She even gets along well with children – absolutely no issues!
Yeowool also plays wonderfully with dogs of her size and is friendly with larger dogs who have gentle temperaments, though she tends to avoid overly energetic playmates.
She shows no interest in stray cats nor does she show aggression over food or toys. She has no observed prey drive and has moderate energy. She will rest calmly after outdoor activities. Yeowool will walk calmly on a leash without pulling but may get excited to greet approaching dogs or people.
When she is in her crate, she may whine briefly when she sees people but will soon settle down afterwards.

She is fully house-trained! She does all her business outdoors, rarely barks (but may whimper to ask to be held), is no flight-risk, and has no destructive tendencies.
She can share her food and toys with both people and other dogs alike! Yeowool loves being petted everywhere and anywhere and enjoys being held.
This precious soul was rescued from the city shelter just before scheduled euthanasia and is looking for a loving and family to give her endless pets and snuggles!

More about this rescue

Adopt Korean Rescue is a volunteer-based federally registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted dogs in South Korea find a new home in Canada.

We love Korean dogs. Many of them live in chains, give birth on the side of the road, or wander around with their pups. Some of them get caught and end up at dog meat farms or high-kill shelters in South Korea. They luckily meet us just before euthanasia or after many years of living in dog meat farms. We exist to hold their paws and help them find a forever home in Canada full of joy and happiness.

Our dog rescue work depends on our flight volunteers. They help us safely bring our dogs from Korea to Vancouver or Toronto airports, where the dogs will find loving forever or foster homes.
