My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roxy!!

Guessed to grow to about the 30-40 lbs mark. She is a spayed female and only 4 months old!

Roxy has grown so much in the 2 weeks she has been with us and in her foster home.

When she came to us she was so shut down and refused to walk on a leash or go near humans. Now she walks great on a leash, loves her crate, loves to play in the snow and would benefit from another dog to follow around and learn how to love human pets. She is still a skittish girl so strangers coming up to her make her want to run and hide, but once she knows you she will take treats and pets.

She’s spent some time with a dog trainer recently and they agree she is going to grow into a wonderful well mannered girl

Comes with 2 free dog training sessions
Will be fully vetted

More about this rescue

“A Dog Rescue Doing More than Dog Rescue”
We are a young rescue (3rd year anniversary in Jan 2023), but we are here to lead the way of what rescue actually means and set the standard so others can follow.

We are doing more than just rescuing the dog.
We hold monthly group training classes for the community (yes, even those without rescue dogs).

We provide free training for our foster families.
We provide free training for our adoptive families.
We are doing more than just rescuing the dog, we are changing the pattern of surrendering by providing knowledge and education through our community.
It seems like a simple thought of course, but one that many rescue groups do not follow.
