My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is June. I am a 5 month old mixed breed, mostly Basset Hound. My mom adopted me from a local animal shelter but it turns out I am not quite the right fit for my current home. I am cute, girly, funny, sweet, love to snuggle (and would cuddle all day!), and I love to run and play with my Bichon brother. So far, I am very obedient on a leash and around other animals. I am learning sit and stay right now and respond well to treat training.
I’m working on crate training, potty training, and separation anxiety. I do not like when my mom leaves. If you feel like you could help me with my separation anxiety and courage, and give me a fenced yard to run and play in, and/or if you have another hound that could show me the ropes, we may be a great fit. The vet estimates I’m about as big as I am going to get at 25-30 lbs. I love sleeping with you, too, as right now, a crate makes me really scared. My neighbors say I am as cute as could be. I come with spay/other records. Thanks!
