My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mimi is a lovable, sweet, and snuggly little lady that is looking for a lasting love!  She  is a true lapdog at heart and adores nothing more than curling up close to her humans. Mimi's foster parents even say that she has a special way of making eye contact, almost as if she’s trying to have a heart-to-heart conversation with you! She’s a gentle and affectionate companion who loves to be there right by your side.

Mimi would especially love to spend the rest of her golden years in a quiet, calm environment without young children, where she can shower her new family with her sweetness and enjoy all of the cuddles her heart desires. She also still has lots of pep left in her step, with a fondness for fetch, walks, and even chasing squirrels whenever the opportunity presents itself!

Mimi is fully housebroken and gets along with everyone that she meets, though she does appreciate a little space when meeting new people. She tends to feel more confident when meeting someone on a walk rather than having guests come inside right away, but she is very people-oriented and will always give a warm welcome. When Mimi's not playing or on an adventure, she loves to nap in her cozy crate, dog bed, or anywhere else she can find a quiet spot. At night, she enjoys having her bed next to her human’s bed, or even snoozing at the foot of the bed if she’s feeling extra snug!

Mimi is looking for an adoptive home with a more flexible schedule, as she craves attention and affection, but is also content spending time on her own when needed. Once she feels comfortable, Mimi’s deeply warm nature shines through, and she becomes an incredibly loving companion who will bring so much warmth and joy.

If you’re looking for a petite pup to add lots of extra love to your heart and home, please reach out and submit your adoption application—and Mimi might just be the perfect match!
