We brought Charlie home when he was around 7 months old. We found him tied to a tree, no water, his food had maggots, AND it was the hot summer! His leash was wrapped around the tree so tight he couldn't move. We brought him a very long chain and moved him where he couldn't get tangled. We brought him fresh cold water several times a day. We threw away his disgusting dog food and fed him our pet food. After a few weeks of this, we told the owners that we would like to take him and find him a home.
They agreed, since they knew this poor baby was not being loved or cared for. We brought him to our fenced in yard with our other four dogs and it was magic. He now lives indoors, he is potty trained, and he is loved, but in need of new home due to allergies. (We have poodles and doodles who don't shed)
He will be getting neutered mid-December and receiving updated required vaccines. So, we prefer to wait till end of December to rehome him when he's feeling 100%.
He deserves the best
