Here's what the humans have to say about me:

All cats and kittens have received age-appropriate vaccinations; been dewormed; been spayed or neutered; and cats over the age of four months have been tested negative for Feline Leukemia (FeLeuk) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Edmond Animal Services offers an adoption fee of $25 following an approved application and is open for adoptions six days a week with the exception of 11 major holidays.

All of our available animals can be viewed at our shelter located at 2424 Old Timbers Drive (East of I-35 and South of Covell). Hours of operation: Mon - Fri 10am-6pm, Sat Noon- 4:30pm & Sunday 1pm - 4:30pm.

We are closed on the following holidays: New Years Day, MLK Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day & the day after, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

More about this shelter

We are the municipal animal control and animal sheltering entity for the City of Edmond, Oklahoma. We offer to the public adoptions of dogs/cats every day. We accept strays and owner surrenders which originate from within the corporate city limits of Edmond, OK. We are not a no-kill facility, but we maintain a very low-kill status.

We are always looking for caring folks who want to become regular and committed volunteers.

We are also always looking for short-term foster families for animals in our care.
