My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Katie is originally from Kentucky, but ended up dumped in Ohio at the seven mile bridge. She had to be trapped because of how terrified she was, and then was taken to animal control before we rescued her. Unfortunately she still does take some time to warm up to strangers. She is so very sweet once she knows you can be trusted, and uses other dogs as a security blanket.November 15, 2024, 2:29 pm

More about this rescue

Preble County Pittie Committee strives to make a positive difference in the lives and welfare of "the underdog". Our goal is to rescue pit bulls who would otherwise be euthanized in shelters and place them in forever homes that make them forget they were ever almost a statistic. In a world where unfair discrimination and willful ignorance can be a death sentence for these dogs, we strive to educate the general public and show that pit bull heads are almost as big as their hearts, all they need is a chance to prove it.
