Mothman is an energetic and playful kitten with a huge personality and a big voice to match! He's a social, curious little guy who's always ready for a game of chase or a wrestling match with his brothers. Mothman loves to keep his "hunting skills sharp with any toy he can find, making playtime his absolute favorite part of the day. But he's also a total foodie and enjoys his meals almost as much as his toys! One of Mothman's cutest quirks is his constant "chats-he has a lot to say and isn't shy about sharing his thoughts! We have worked hard to make our adoption process as easy as possible. We like to think of the process in four steps: application, phone conversation, meet and greet and adoption day. We will get back to applicants within a few days even if they were not chosen.

More about this rescue

Paws and Claws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the Chicagoland area dedicated to preventing, and alleviating the suffering caused by abuse, neglect, and overpopulation. We help dogs and cats mentally and physically heal, and give them a chance to find love, a full life, and a forever home.

Our focus is on rescuing orphaned neonatal kittens, nursing kittens with their feral mothers, under-socialized cats, and dogs who have been at Chicago Animal Care and Control for too long. We see ourselves as the crossing guards for these vulnerable animals, helping them get from their past, whether that be from a traumatic home, a kennel, or a euthanasia list, to a safe and kind human who will love them.
