My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our adventurous kitten, Bigfoot!

Perfect for his name, Bigfoot is quite the little explorer! He spends much of his time adventuring around his foster home and has proven absolutely fearless for his age. His foster parent highlights his natural tendency to hunt and chase toys, so a home that can match his energy is ideal. Bigfoot loves to play and will certainly be active for most of the day, but he's also quite the cuddler. After getting his exercise in, Bigfoot loves to find a lap to nap on and a person to love. He just adores people and does great with kids! Bigfoot is also great with other cats and would love a feline sibling to run around with, but he hasn't yet met a dog so moving into a home with one is still in question. Bigfoot promises to make you smile with his silly moves and funny demeanor. He also promises to make you proud as he's absolutely aced litter box training and strictly uses scratching posts, not furniture.

This little cutie is booming with personality and good manners. We'd love for him to find a home that welcomes all he has to offer! Inquire today about meeting him!

More about this rescue

Paws and Claws Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the Chicagoland area dedicated to preventing, and alleviating the suffering caused by abuse, neglect, and overpopulation. We help dogs and cats mentally and physically heal, and give them a chance to find love, a full life, and a forever home.

Our focus is on rescuing orphaned neonatal kittens, nursing kittens with their feral mothers, under-socialized cats, and dogs who have been at Chicago Animal Care and Control for too long. We see ourselves as the crossing guards for these vulnerable animals, helping them get from their past, whether that be from a traumatic home, a kennel, or a euthanasia list, to a safe and kind human who will love them.
