Hi, I`m Joy! I was recently surrendered because my owner could no longer keep me. Luckily, my foster mom decided to take me home when she saw how scared I was in the kennel. She has a lot of nice things to share about me!
`Joy is a high energy lap dog! After running around with her toys, she loves nothing more than snuggling up on her favorite lap or making a nest on the top of the couch. She is a little shy with new people at first, particularly men, but once she is comfortable, she does not want to be without her people! She would do best in a home where she does not have to be alone for too long. She does well with other dogs and dog savvy cats, but she has a lot of prey drive so should not live in a home with rodents or birds. She is potty pad trained and is making rapid progress on house-training, thanks to her foster sister showing her the ropes!`
At 10 pounds, I am fully grown and ready to settle down in my forever home. If you are looking for a loyal, tiny dog who is tons of fun and just wants to be with you, apply to meet me today!

The West Suburban Humane Society (WSHS) is a volunteer-based, no-kill animal rescue that was founded in 1972 in the western suburbs of Chicago. WSHS now finds homes for more than 500 dogs and cats each year!
WSHS is 100% funded by individual, corporate, and private foundations donations, and has over 450 active volunteers! WSHS is caring for about 200 animals at any given time.
