My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Bear! 🐾

Bear is a loving and affectionate sweetheart who’s ready to find his forever home! He’s great on a leash and gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. While he might take a few minutes to warm up to new people, once he does, you’ll have a loyal best friend for life.

This big, goofy lap dog dreams of spending his days snoozing on a comfy couch and giving you endless love. Bear does have a bit of separation anxiety, so he’d thrive in a home where he’s not left alone often or has another dog companion. While he is crate trained, he prefers snoozing on the couch or floor. He is house trained making him the perfect gentleman family member.

Bear is a classic St. Bernard in every way... Affectionate, laid back, well mannered, and as sweet as they come. If you’re looking for a cuddly companion with a big heart, Bear might just be the perfect fit for you! 🐾

More about this rescue

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
