Grady is super sweet and loves chin scritches; in fact, he will lean into your hand. He adores being petted and will stretch out so you can pet every bit of him. He isn’t comfortable being held and new environments scare him. Basically, the first 24-36-ish hours, he’s not sure what to make of the situation, people, or sounds. Grady will be happiest in a quieter home. He and Georgie are fostered together and get along fine. Georgie is probably a bit high energy for Grady, but he loves the company so we think he'd be happiest with a kitty friend in his forever home. He loves his kitty bed and likes to sleep with his head resting on the cushioned side. He has toys, but doesn’t seem to know what to do with them. He is food motivated and loves wet food and treats. He’s not a fan of dry food so he really needs a forever home that is willing to feed him wet food several times a day. Grady was found with a large abscess on his face. It’s healing really well, but he still has a bit of a scab above his eye. It doesn’t require further treatment, just time for the scab to heal. The healing caused him to have a bit of an eye lift so he can look a bit judgey, but he's not. Grady is not a fan of carriers, so a top loading carrier is a must for this boy! He’s quick to forgive the carrier once home if he’s given treats.
Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions.
Please note: We appreciate all interest in our cats and kittens, but we are an all volunteer organization. Please be patient with regard to a call back. Should you need to surrender the cat you adopted from NTCR, please email us at surrenderNTCRcat@northtexascatrescue.com.
