Introducing an adorable, ginger-colored, inseparable duo: Donald (orange tabby) and Pluto (white and orange)!

Donald and Pluto are Hurricane Helene survivors meaning they've been through hell and back together. These boys are at each other's side no matter what. They eat together, play together, and sleep together. We've never seen a more bonded pair of kittens!

They are 5 months old, so they still provide lots of entertaining kitten antics while also being more self-sufficient. As long as they have each other, they are happy! Donald is content with good scratches and pets while Pluto is a TOTAL lap cat! They bring out the best in each other.

Given the circumstances, we will not separate these two and hope that someone will be willing to open their heart and home to two wonderful kittens.

Adoption applications are required and are available on our website. We do require references and interview potential adopters. All animals will be current on the vaccinations, microchipped and be either spayed or neutered before the adoption is finalized.
Our dog adoption fees range from $150.00 to $275.00 depending on the age of the dog. Cat adoption fees are $50.00.

The Appalachian Highlands Humane Society is a private non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals. We do not receive public or government funding, and no monies from national humane organizations or county, state or federal government funds. Our work depends solely on grants, fundraisers, adoptions, private funding, memberships and donations. The fees collected from the adoption of each animal help to offset some of the costs involved in providing care for the animals and preparing an animal for placement into a new home.
