**** Courtesy Post: Ginny is a 1 year old German Shepherd found as a stray, very terrified of her surroundings. She is starting to regain her puppy nature with the help of a squeaky toy. She is potty trained but hasn't shown any knowledge of basic commands. She is wary of other dogs and cats but she is learning that they are friends. She is mostly a timid cuddle bug that needs a big strong man to feel safe. Okay with kids that respect her boundaries. Untested with ages younger than 5. Would do great in a home with low levels of activity to start with that can encourage her activity level slowly. Will eventually need daily exercise and training.
Ginny is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $250 helps offset medical fees. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think Ginny could be the right fit for you, please complete an adoption application at: https://www.helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application/ .
*Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the finder of Ginny for review and follow-up.
