My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Deedee and I am a big silly puppy! I was found by a kind stranger as me and my brother were running beside a county road that was often filled with traffic! Our rescuer was able to stop and pick us up and bring us to the shelter. He could tell we were definitely too young to be out alone much less running in traffic. We were never claimed by our owner and are now available for adoption. I am a young Great Pyrenees mix. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. If you want to adopt me, please remember I am still a young puppy. I have lots of growing to do and lots of new things to learn! Do you have time to help me become the best adult dog that I can be with training and lots of love?

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
