Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Harley is a 8 yr. old Black Labrador Retriever weighing 95 lbs. This big sweet boy is loving, cuddly, very playful and enjoys relaxing. He loves playing fetch and has several stuffy toys that he carries around. He is good with children, men, women, other dogs and cats.
Harley is house, crate, dog-door trained and rides well in a car but, he needs encouragement (treats!) to get in. Harley is smart and learns quickly because he is food/treat motivated. He sits pretty well on command, knows down, and paw. He does jump up but does not jump on you. He walks on a leash but does pull a little. This boy is sure to excellent with dedicated training and rewarding treats! Check out United Animal Friends Dog Training Program. Level One Training consists of three one-hour classes for $30. Register at: www.meetup.com/unitedanimalfriends/
Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.
HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/
When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
