My name is Sweetie -declawed lap cat extraordinaire!

Meet the solution for bad days: petite, front-declawed, mellow Sweetie with bunny soft fur. If the day wasn't great, just climb on your recliner, couch, or bed, and Sweetie will hop up on your lap and purr until the day's miseries are a memory.

Sweetie lives for laps and affection. While she's fine being by herself when you're away, she's always glad for company. She searches out sun ray slices for naps, and especially enjoys her cat tree by a sunny window. She lived, for the last four years, with a lovely adopter who, sadly, had to go to memory care, but she loved sleeping in her mom's bed with her.

Sweetie first came into rescue with another cat, and was fine with that, though she's been a solo cat for four years now. She's seen dogs in her foster home, and though she hasn't engaged with them, she doesn't seem worried, and would probably do okay with a dog that isn't particularly interested in her. She responds well to calm visitors, but probably won't be great with small, active children; older children will be fine. She's perfect for people who have retired or work from home.

There's only one thing Sweetie needs now, and that's the perfect home. All she wants for Christmas, as the song says, is you!

Sweetie's adoption donation is $75 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, FELV/FIV testing (she's negative), microchip and spay.
