Meet Sahara – Your Future Furry Bestie!

Are you ready for a whirlwind of whiskers and sass? Sahara is a young gray tabby with stripes that rival a tiger's and a personality that could charm the socks off anyone. She's playful, snuggly, and has a talent for making your heart melt in 0.2 seconds flat. We estimate her date of birth to be 4/21/2023. She was rescued shortly after seen playing in the yard with another cat that we suspect was a sibling.

Sahara is playful, snuggly, and has a talent for making your heart melt in 0.2 seconds flat. Her hobbies include expert-level purring when you're watching your favorite show and the talent to turn anything into a toy – even your shoelaces.

If you're looking for a sidekick who's equal parts mischievous and adorable, Sahara's your girl! Warning: adopting her might make your heart 10x bigger. Sahara is fully vetted and is waiting to go home with you! She has not been exposed to children and dogs. As stated above, her only interaction with another cat was prior to rescue.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Once you have chosen a pet from online or visited at one of our adoption centers, you may decide to submit an application.

2.
Interview

Your application will be acknowledged and a request made for a convenient time to set up a phone interview.

3.
Home Check

We do not visit your home, but we do check vet and personal references.

4.
Approve Application

Once approved, you will meet with our adoption manager, sign your contract, pay your $175 donation fee, and pick up your new baby!

Additional adoption info

Adoption application is required. If approved for an adoption there is an adoption contract and a $175.00/$400.00 adoption fee. The $175.00 adoption fee for cats includes the spay/neuter, AKC micro-chipping, FIV/FeLV testing (Feline) or Heartworm testing (Canine), deworming, de-fleaing and vaccines.
