My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾🐾❤*ARMADILLO BOYS*❤🐾🐾
These sunshine boys are 4 brothers. They all look almost identical. Sweet, playful and will make great feline companions. Adirondack Save-A-Stray is a big believer that felines do better in pairs. So a feline household is preferred. They are approximately 9 to 10 weeks old. Age appropriate vetting has been done including FLV/ FIV testing and health cert. The are grateful to be away from their past and are looking forward to a bright, loving future.
If you are ready to open up you heart and home please call Adirondack Save-A-Stray at 518-654-6220 for more info and a meet and greet.

Their adoption process

1.

Interview

We do a pre-interview over the phone to learn more about your family and type of home you have to offer our rescue animals.

2.

Meet the Pet

Once pre-approved, we will schedule you an appointment to meet the kitty you chose, in their foster home.

3.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Spend time with the kitty in their foster home, and see if he/she will be a good match for your family.

4.

Sign Adoption Contract

There is an adoption packet with several forms and an adoption contract you will review and sign.

5.

Pay Fee

Cat and Kitten adoption fees can range from $125 and up. Many factors go in to determining adoption fees.

6.

Take the Pet Home

If the animal has been with us for a while they can go home the same day. If they've just arrived they will be able to go home in a few days

Additional adoption info

When you adopt you sign a breeding control certificate which documents your agreement to get your kitten spayed/neutered when they are old enough (5-6 months old). Kittens will be up to date on vaccinations and receive a flea treatment and dewormer prior to adoption. They will be Felv/fiv tested if old enough.

You must be over 21 to adopt. Do you rent or own your home? If you own, great!! If not, please bring a letter from your landlord or a copy of your lease stating that you can have a pet and a number to verify that once you are here. Do you have any other pets at home? If so, are they spayed/neutered? If not, do you believe in spaying/neutering? Are they vaccinated?

The formal application and all of the paperwork are done at the fosters home. Please be on time to meet and greet appointments and considerate of the foster's time if you need to reschedule or cancel.
