My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth: 04/11/2024

Description:  Betty Ruble was born from Pebbles Ruble, a mama stray cat. The mama was brought in and we had Betty and Wilma. Betty's mama was a tiny cat and so Betty and Wilma are both tiny cats. Betty loves to play and have fun with Wilma. She is an intelligent and playful kitten and loves to leave from her owner/foster parents. They both love to stare out from their pet playpen and watch the owners clean, sweep or changing their litter box. Betty loves to be held and might learn to be held for longer periods of time. Both Betty and Wilma love to sleep in box and sometimes love to sleep on top of them. Both Betty and Wilma will do good if they have a loving home.

Words to Describe: Observant, intelligent, seeks love and attention seeking

Kitty Likes: Toys that name noises or rattle. Scratches on her head and back.

Kitty Prefers Not To: To be bothered when not not in the mood or when she is napping.

Fastest Way to Get Kitty to Purr: Continuous love and petting

Favorite Place to Sleep: Betty loves to sleep in her box.

Favorite Toys: Feather toys, balls that make noises or battery operated toys

Favorite Treat: Temptations

  • Good with Cats: Likes cats given a proper introduction.

  • Good with Dogs: Unknown, but optimistic (Animal has not met any dogs.)

  • Good with Children: Loves all children

  • Companion Animal: Requires a companion if left alone for long periods of time.

Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age.

Additional adoption info

Go meet their pets

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
