My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lyric - a 2-year-old sweetheart who is ready to live her best life as the baby of the family! Lyric spent some time being a mama, and now it's her turn to be pampered and spoiled. She absolutely adores people and is all about spending quality time with her human family. Whether it's going on adventures, long walks, or snuggling up on the couch, Lyric is always up for some fun and affection.

This affectionate girl is sweet, easygoing, and loves to be the center of attention. She has a heart full of love to give and can't wait to find her forever home where she can enjoy being the cherished companion she deserves to be. If you're looking for a loving, adventurous pup who is ready to bond and make every day special, Lyric could be the one! Come meet her and let this sweet girl show you just how wonderful life can be with her by your side.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
