My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Alvin to CCPAL Rescue. He is an 8-week-old puppy that is now getting weaned and will be ready for his forever home. He is a big puppy and should weigh 65- 70 pounds full grown. He does not have the Great Pyrenees extra toes on his back feet. He has a fluffy head and less color on his light khaki on his face than his brothers. He is bigger than the girls and one of the medium sized boys in this litter of 9. He is bigger than some of the other puppies. He has a beautiful white coat and the volunteers here at the rescue have him bathed and brushed for his photo shoot. He weighs about 15 pounds already. He gets along well with his siblings. He is one of 9 puppies. He has a wonderful mother and this entire litter is sweet and gentle. He would be great for someone wanting to raise a large breed dog. He is a guardian breed and will be great with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Someone that does not work all day every day is best. He will need to finish his puppy training and be socialized by being with his family. He will need a fence over underground fencing. This is typical of this breed. He is good in a crate and good in a car. He is decent at baths and has already had a toenail clipping. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont, or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. He is healthy, vaccinated and will be neutered soon and ready for his forever home. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. More about this rescue

C.C.P.A.L. seeks to reduce the enormous problem of pet overpopulation in Bandera County We promote low-cost spay/neuter programs; advise on basic health care & proper shelter for pets & offer excellent dog obedience classes several times each year. Since 2002, CCPAL has rescued nearly 5,000 animals. We are in constant need of foster homes for these pets until we find them homes. Our pets are in kennels on an acreage in Texas. We can use a transporter to get them outside of Texas if we find a great home.
