My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Penny, and I'm a sweet and affectionate young lady with a lot of love to give. I am about 3 years old and weigh 45 pounds with the prettiest gray coat.

Even though I can be a bit timid at first, I'm a total cuddle bug and I can't get enough of those snuggly laps. My only care is to be as close to you as possible, soaking up all the love.

Here's what you should know about me: I'm still a bit scared of the world and lack confidence, but with the right person by my side who can help build my confidence, I know I can overcome my fears. If you're patient, kind, and looking for a furry friend to love you unconditionally, I might be the one for you. I'm not too sure how I feel about other dogs just yet, but I'm willing to give them a chance. I'm still learning how to be confident and exploring the world around me, so I need to have a home where any children are at least 13 years old and an adopter who can be my leader. I think this kennel environment is very scary, so I am hoping my forever family finds me quickly.

If you are interested in Penny and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
