Introducing Muggins- a guessed at 3-yr-old, 12 pound, Yorkie Poo. Muggins was a street dog- he came in loaded with burrs, missing fur, and terrified of people. He is looking for a perfect home to have the patience to get past the initial "I'm scared" to having the loyal, loving lap dog he wants to be. He has done best learning and watching other dogs on how to be a "house dog" vs a street dog. Muggins has not met any cats or children- so his demeanor around them is unknown.
Muggins will require a fully fenced yard to ensure his safety and especially since his origin is being a stray. He is crate trained, has very few/rare potty accidents, he hasn't had much leash time, or work on his basics as his main focus has been getting his fur to regrow and gaining trust. His foster person describes Muggins as, "Playful when he is around other dogs. For the most part- he is happiest laying on his doggie bed chilling. He is still shy meeting new people, but he does produce a big smile and dances when he sees me." If you believe your home will make the perfect spot for Muggins- follow our link to find the required ADOPTION APPLICATION.
**PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must live within an hour radius of Toledo, Ohio.
*Muggins is neutered, microchipped, current on shots, and on monthly heartworm/flea prevention.
*His adoption fee is $300.00
*Visit our website to compete the required ADOPTION APPLICATION to help this cutie find a forever home.

Additional adoption info
Dogworks strives to place dogs into permanent homes based on the dogs' personalities and yours. To adopt a dog, we require a completed application, approved vetting, signed adoption contract, and home visit.
Adoption applications are available on our website (www.dogworksohio.com) and at all Meet & Greets. Once your application has been submitted, we will contact your references and consider suitability. You will be contacted by phone or email, typically within 4 business days, to discuss arrangements for adoption contract and home visit.
Adoption fees are variable (typically $125-$250) and are listed with the description of each dog. Adoption fee will be refunded if you decide that the dog is not compatible with your family within 2 weeks.
Adopted dogs must be returned to Dogworks in the event that they can no longer remain a member of your household for any reason.
All dogs have been updated on vaccines and tested for heartworm prior to adoption. Adult dogs and puppies older than 14 weeks are spayed/neutered. Adopters of younger puppies are required to sign an agreement to complete spay/neuter by 6 months of age. We will assist with spay/neuter costs. Adopters will receive a copy of medical records.
