Meet Tex (that's me!), your next furry BFF! I'm here searching for a family, a home...one I can say will be ALL mine! Since you're reading this, could that possibly mean my family could be with YOU?!!
I'm around 3years old which puts me at a fabulous age...out of the puppy destructive stage but still active and playful. I am super sweet and affectionate showering you with all my love!!
I am super affectionate in my foster home and love getting petted. I get so excited to see you if you happen to leave even if it's just for a moment to get the mail! I do like to play with fingers and will nibble when I get excited. I also do great with the other pups and I mostly just leave the resident kitty alone.
I come in at about 12lbs which is also a pawsomely perfect size for, well yes, everything. Neighborhood strolls, mild nature trails, co-piloting errand runs, supervising yard work, you name it I'm the fella for the task at hand!!
I will need regular grooming to keep me looking this spectacular! A few weekly brushings and maybe a trip to the groomer every so often is a small price for this much handsomeness in one compact package!! My coat has some curl to it and gives me a little bit more of that wilder surfer dude look so it may need to be kept on the shorter side.
I will make a great companion for a family that is looking for a sweet lil boy that will be your BFF, your lil sidekick in all your life's adventures from mundane daily to weekend exciting!!! Please fill out my adoption application, it can be found at haydudeequine.org

(4) offer assistance to equine owners in times of natural or personal disaster
(5) rehabilitate neglected and abused equines
(6) accept donations of rehomeable equines for adoption and placement
(7) adopt equines into thoroughly vetted homes
