Hello, I’m Winifred! I was at animal control, and it was my lucky day when Mostly Mutts came to rescue me! There are great things in store for me, and the volunteers are taking great care of me while I wait for my new family to find me. Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am YOUR new furry family member!
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I was a bit shy with them, though I did warm up, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / I’ve not officially met cats, but I HAVE observed them through the window to the Kitty Aquarium at the shelter. I appear a bit too interested in them, so I do not think I should live with cats. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers describe me as a ‘sweet and wiggly’ girl with a happy and friendly nature. I was fabulous for my shelter bath and showed my affectionate side with kisses of appreciation when it was done. I will be a great companion for a family who is looking for a smart, curious and active fur friend. / My energy level is 5-7.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I will be learning lots of great commands with my trainer. I’ve already mastered the ‘sit’ command and will be working on my leash skills as I’m a bit of a puller, so check back soon to see what else I have learned. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having quite a few accidents on the shelter schedule. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I have a playful nature and really like when the volunteers pull out toys at the shelter. Whether we are playing or just hanging out for snuggles, I am sure to have a good time with you and soak up some love as my whole-body wiggles with joy when we’re together! / Other than my strong interest in cats, I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.
• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.
