My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please say hello to this handsome boy named Gallo! Gallo arrived at the shelter through no fault of his own on 11/7 because he got lost on a great adventure to finding his way home. The volunteers describe him as a wonderful dog who is very sweet and very cute. He is a little strong on the leash but with a lot of patience, guidance, and a lot of love he will have that mastered in no time at all! He is slowly adjusting to his new surroundings despite being placed in a loud, overcrowded shelter. At one point in his life, someone took care of him as his coat looks so smooth and well kept. He is gorgeous! He is hoping to find a loving person soon that will continue to take care of him and actually take the time to train him properly to keep him safe in his home and be patient with him. He needs someone that will be there for him in his life EVERYDAY!! Gallo love, love, love his toys! He especially loves playing with balls outside. He is a very playful pup!! He is super intelligent as he knows how to sit pretty well when asked. He may know more if you would just give him a chance. He is eager to please and a natural at learning new things. He has a lot of energy to burn so an active family would be ideal for Gallo. Take him on awesome adventures so he can have the best memories ever with the one he has been searching for all of his life--YOU!! He needs you now more than ever! Please help him find his way home!

Gallo is current on vaccines, will be neutered, micro-chipped and tested for heart worms upon his adoption. Gallo is a nice size of 48 pounds and he is just 2 years old. So he is still pretty young. He is more than ready to meet his new family. You will find Gallo patiently waiting for you in Run 85. Gallo's ID# is 6055.
