My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Handsome Hank, AKA Hank the Tank, is a solid built young sweetheart boy about a year old. He's short-haired, very neat, with a handsome brown tabby cap and that cute little smudge on his nose.

Hank is a mom's and dad's kind of boy. He wants nothing more than to cuddle and be a fun and good boy in the house. He loves having nice friends; people, dogs, and other cats are all possible best buddies.

Hank came from a colony of cats living outside. But now that he's lived in a home with loving people and regular meals, and all those wonderful warm safe places to nap, he hasn't shown much interest in going outside so far. But come spring, that could all change. So, Hank will need a safe place to go out with his family to smell the flowers and roll in the grass if he decides he likes the outdoors.

He's in Homer but a ride to a happy family who will love him always may be available. Call 907 980-8898

Additional adoption info

Clear Creek Cat Rescue rehomes kitties based on 'best fit' approach. We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $135. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Go meet their pets

Dur to pandemic, we are doing virtual adoptions and slowly transitioning to in person. Our cats are available for adoption from their foster homes located all over southcentral Alaska.

More about this rescue

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help.
In 2020, we rescued and rehomed approximately 650 cats.
